Mark Eric Haupt

Mark Eric Haupt, 42, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Friday, January 31, 2020. He was born in Roanoke, Va. on March 28, 1977. Mark was an employee of Oakey’s Funeral Services. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time on his boat.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, George Haupt; grandfather, Kenneth Wright; uncles, Albert Wright, Danny Wright, Mike Wright, C.M. Hipes, Bill Haupt, and Charles Haupt; aunt, Joan Gillespie; grandfather, Walter Haupt; and grandmother, Lois Haupt.

He is survived by his wife, Leslie; children, Eric and Hunter; mother and stepfather, Gail and Melvin Kellison; brother, Michael Bland and wife, Kristen, and their children, Owen and Easton; grandmother, Thelma Wright; aunt, Judy Peters; uncles, Wallace Wright and wife, Cindy, and Timmy Wright and wife, Sandy; aunt, June Haupt; aunt and uncle, Darlene and Joe Haupt; and other family and friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 3, 2020, at Oakey’s Roanoke Chapel. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2020, at the funeral home. Online condolences may be shared at www.oakeys.com.
